Collect

a) Information you give us. When you complete a form on the Site — including our contact form, enquiry form or newsletter sign-up — we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, state or country, company or business name, the type of enquiry you select, and any other information you write in the message field.

b) Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and our service providers may automatically record your IP address and approximate location derived from it, browser type and version, operating system, device type and screen size, the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, and the referring website or search term that led you to the Site.

c) Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for the purposes described in Section 6. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions.

d) Information we do not collect. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age. We do not process payments or financial account information through the Site. We do not ask for or store player account credentials of any kind, and we do not accept requests from players to recharge or cash out game credits.

3. Why We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about your project;
  • prepare quotations, proposals, technical specifications and contracts;
  • provide, maintain and support the services you have engaged us for;
  • verify that an enquiry comes from a legitimate business contact and to prevent fraud, spam and misuse of the Site;
  • understand how the Site is used so that we can improve its content, structure and performance;
  • measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including advertising run through third-party platforms;
  • comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or an equivalent law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — where you have ticked a box or otherwise clearly agreed, for example for marketing communications or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you.
  • Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as responding to enquiries, securing the Site, preventing fraud and improving our services. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.

5. Comments and Public Content

If you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the information shown in the comment form, your IP address and your browser user agent, in order to publish your comment and to detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you have an avatar associated with it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.

Comments and their metadata are retained so that we can recognise and approve follow-up comments automatically. Please do not post confidential business information, personal contact details or financial information in a public comment.

6. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Essential cookies are required for the Site to function, including security, session management and spam protection. These cannot be switched off through the Site.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are most viewed and how visitors move through the Site. We use aggregated, statistical information for this purpose.

Advertising and remarketing cookies and pixels may be set by advertising platforms we use, including Google. These technologies allow us to measure how many visitors came from an advertisement, and to show relevant advertisements to people who have previously visited the Site, on other websites and platforms. Our advertising is directed at business audiences, and we do not use your information to advertise to you on the basis of sensitive categories.

If you leave a comment on the Site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

You can control advertising personalisation and opt out of personalised advertising from participating providers through the following resources:

  • Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
  • Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Your Online Choices (EU): https://www.youronlinechoices.eu
  • Network Advertising Initiative (US): https://optout.networkadvertising.org

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you may change or withdraw that consent at any time.

7. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on the Site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website directly. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We do not control those websites; please review their privacy policies.

8. Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only as described below.

Service providers. We use third-party companies to operate the Site and our business, including website hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, email and messaging services, spam-detection and captcha services, live-chat support services, analytics providers and advertising platforms. These providers process information on our instructions and are contractually required to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

Professional advisers. We may share information with lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers where necessary for the operation of our business.

Business transfers. If our business or assets are sold, merged or reorganised, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honour this Privacy Policy.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, court order or a competent authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.

9. International Transfers

We operate internationally, and the service providers we use may store or process information in countries other than your own, including countries outside the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, such as using the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or transferring to a country covered by an adequacy decision.

10. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and then delete or anonymise it. In practice:

  • Enquiry and contact records — retained for as long as we are in contact with you about a potential project, and for 24 months afterwards if the enquiry does not proceed.
  • Customer and contract records — retained for the duration of the business relationship and for 6 years afterwards, to meet tax, accounting and legal record-keeping requirements.
  • Website analytics data — retained in identifiable form for up to 14 months, then aggregated.
  • Comments — retained for as long as the Site remains published, unless you ask us to remove them.
  • Marketing consent records — retained until you withdraw your consent, plus a short period to record the withdrawal.

Where a longer retention period is required by law, or is necessary for the establishment or defence of legal claims, we will keep the information for that longer period.

11. How We Protect Your Information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted transmission of data submitted through the Site (HTTPS/TLS), access controls that limit who inside our organisation can view enquiry data, restriction of administrative access, and regular review of our service providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority where we are legally required to do so, without undue delay and, where required, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information:

  • Access — to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion — to ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to the use of your information for direct marketing.
  • Portability — to receive the information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or to have it transmitted to another organisation.
  • Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you also have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended:

  • to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, and the purposes for which it is used;
  • to request deletion of your personal information;
  • to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CCPA. Because we do not do so, there is no opt-out mechanism to provide;
  • to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics;
  • not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

You may designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will verify the request as required by law.

13. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not carry out profiling that has such effects. Advertising measurement and remarketing described in Section 6 are based on cookie and pixel data and do not make decisions about you as an individual beyond advertisement selection.

14. Marketing Communications

We may send you business-related information, including product updates and service announcements. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing communications, and every marketing message will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 16. We will still contact you where necessary in relation to a project or service you have engaged us for.

15. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for business use by adults. They are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
